Google glass: strategy overhaul needed.
Google glass is one of the latest and hottest buzzes in the tech world. It has a lot of possibilities and it is really something very innovative and not a gimmick at all. But there is a problem. No, there is a very, very big problem: geek-factor!

We live in a society in which Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian are more popular than many of the biggest names in technology. In a setting like this one, Google Glass in it current form and current marketing strategy WILL NOT SUCCEED.

Here is what will make it succeed:

1. Get known designers involved in the design process.
Honestly, unless you are a tech fanatic, the current Google Glass looks ugly and unfit to wear in public or to a party. Google, please get these people on board and pay them if they hesitate: Versace, Gucci, Karl Lagerfeld, Dolce and Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli and Diane von Furstenberg to name a few.
A true engineer will have the ability to morph his product to the recommendations of any top (product) designer. Google, please DON’T let Google Glass become another Microsoft Tablet PC until Apple comes along.

2. Get known music artists involved in the design and marketing process.
Why do you think people pay many-money for Beats by Dr. Dre? The general non-technical public should be the major consumers of Google Glass in order for it to be a great success it deserves to be. Right now everyone who wears them looks like some Special-Ops military or something. Even a Matrix design of Glass who save the day somehow.

So Google please, don’t kill this project, just take these two pieces of advise and you will never have to worry about Apple anymore.
